Work management’s AI layer gets less abstract
Asana, Monday.com and Notion moved from AI slogans towards agent deployment, while Airtable entered a harder reset.
Read in fullThe takeaway
The work management market is converging on one claim: the system of record for work should also become the system of action for AI agents. Monday.com is pairing Frontier with enterprise proof, templates, case studies and developer tooling. Asana is visibly working through whether to sell AI assistance or a human-agent operating system. Notion is embedding agents into files, meetings and customer stories. Airtable enters that race under new ownership and a reported AI-led restructuring plan. The winners will not be the vendors with the loudest AI wording. They will be the ones that turn the work graph into governed, trusted execution across real departments.

How these are made
The same engine powers the market tab inside OpsControl. This is what goes into each public read.
Every Monday
Each read covers the strong signals from the previous 14 days, up to 80 per market. A market too quiet to support a read skips the week.
Public sources only
Pricing pages, website changes, job postings, press, funding rounds, leadership changes and outages, from 30+ sources per company.
Written from the evidence
An AI model writes each read from those dated events. Every claim carries its date, so any line can be checked.
Customer data stays out
Public reads use OpsControl’s own market watch. Customer accounts are never read for them.
